08:00 – 08:30: Pickup & Ho Chi Minh Complex
Pickup at your hotel. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (final resting place of Uncle Ho), his stilt house (1954-1969), and the unique One Pillar Pagoda.
10:15: Vietnam Ethnology Museum
Learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. *Note: Visit Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead on Mondays.*
12:30: Lunch
Enjoy Vietnamese cuisine at a restaurant. Vegetarian foods are available.
13:30: Tran Quoc Pagoda
Visit the oldest pagoda in Hanoi (built in the 6th century), located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake.
14:30: Temple of Literature
Visit Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam, the first university of Vietnam founded in 1070, a symbol of Hanoi’s history and culture.
15:30: Hoa Lo Prison
Explore “Maison Centrale”, built by the French. Once “A Hell on Earth”, now a war museum depicting the struggle against France.
16:30: Return
