🇻🇳 Central Vietnam Historical Journey: Hoi An, Ba Na, Da Nang & Hue (7 Days)

Da Nang Arrival & Hoi An Ancient Town Tour

  • Morning/Noon: Assuming a midday arrival, our guide will hold a welcome board with your name at Da Nang airport. Subsequently, we will transfer you to Hoi An (40 minutes) for hotel check-in.

🚶 Afternoon: Hoi An City Exploration

  • 2:30 PM (Approx.): Our guide will meet you at your hotel in Hoi An City Center to begin the tour.

  • Market & Assembly Hall: Firstly, you’ll visit the bustling Hoi An Market, which offers an unmissable shopping experience full of sights, colors, sounds, and smells. Next, proceed to Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a mélange of bright gates, dragon statues, and elaborate rooftops. Get an introduction to ancestor worship while watching local devotees making offerings.

  • Historical Architecture: You will see remarkably well-preserved old houses, such as Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House, that have withstood 200 years of weather and war. Learn about the prosperous merchants who once lived here. Afterward, visit the Museum of Folk Culture and enjoy art shows at the Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House.

  • Japanese Bridge: Make a stop at the Japanese Bridge. The bridge was constructed more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese and Chinese communities. Admire the carvings and paintings inside, learning about their symbolism and cultural significance.

🌅 Morning: Champa History at My Son

  • 7:30 – 8:00 AM: Our guide picks you up at your hotel and departs to My Son Sanctuary – the World Cultural Heritage site.

  • 9:30 AM: Arrive at My Son. We’ll spend 2 hours discovering the site by walking through the landscape, learning the history with our guide, and enjoying the Champa’s traditional performances.

  • 11:45 AM: Get back to the minivan and move to a local house to learn how to make rice paper. Afterward, you will enjoy your own handmade product!

  • 12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a local family’s house, relaxing with cold herbal tea and fresh air.

🛶 Afternoon: River and Village Tour

  • 1:30 PM: Take a boat trip back toward Hoi An, enjoying the nice cool breeze and beautiful scenery on the Thu Bon River, the biggest river in Central Vietnam.

  • 2:00 PM: Arrive at Cam Thanh Coconut Village. Next, enjoy the MUST DO fun basket boat trip through the coconut-shaded river.

  • 3:00 PM: Visit Tra Que Vegetable Farm to understand how locals grow and harvest their vegetables. You can also experience being a farmer.

  • 4:00 PM: We will drop you back at your hotel. The rest of the evening is free on your own.

  • 8:00 AM: Check out, and our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby. Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Ba Na Mountain.

  • 9:30 AM: Arrive at Ba Na Mountain and walk 800 meters to reach the cable car entrance.

  • 9:50 AM: Enjoy the 20-minute cable car ride to the first spot: the GOLDEN BRIDGE. Then, walk around to capture stunning views.

  • 10:50 AM: Take the 2nd Cable Car to visit the French Village. Here, you can enjoy Street Music, view Art’s statues, the Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, watch the Carnival Performance Show, and challenge the most popular adventure ride – the Free Slide of Tube Car.

  • 12:00 PM: Enjoy a nice buffet lunch at 4 Seasons Restaurant or a random restaurant.

  • 1:00 PM: Following lunch, take the Lava Train from Sun Kingdom to new attractions like Helios Waterfall and The Moon Kingdom. Afterwards, join the fun at Fantasy Park (Dinosaur Park, 5D/4D rides, Freefall Tower, Horror House, and over 90 free games).   • 10:30 AM: Visit Ho Quyen Arena, which resembles a Roman colosseum. It’s where the Nguyen Kings held an annual battle between a tiger and an elephant to demonstrate the King’s power.

  • Evening: The rest of the evening is on your own.

 TERMS OF SERVICE AND TRIP DETAILS

AGREEMENTS AND COMMITMENTS:
  • All costs INCLUDE GOVERNMENT TAX  following Vietnamese national tax laws.
  • Standard SET MENU LUNCH/DINNER usually includes sharing foods of  1 starter, 3-4 main dishes, 1 dessert, steam rice, and all are Vietnamese food only in standard Vietnamese restaurants (hygienic, air conditioned, and professional service)  Vegetarian foods and food restrictions will be pleasantly accommodated.
  • Set menu meals are shared among 4-6 people per one dish depending on group size
  • SIMPLE LUNCH/DINNER means each person has a bowl/plate of a local command food and a drink (beer/soft drink/juice/water)
  • Food requests to Fancy restaurants or Western food/Indian/food will be additionally changed subject to real costs.
  • The timing and order of visiting in the daily plan for private tours is just our suggestion, please feel free to change/adjust as long as it doesn’t cause extra costs.
  • For group tours, the timing and inclusions are fixed, guests are strictly required  to follow.
  • Business hours of Vietnam are from 7,30 - 8,00 AM to 5,00 PM
  • Guides and drivers’ working time are until 6.00 PM. Any additional hour will be charged 20 USD (both for guide and car).
  • No additional charge for the days clearly stated with timing or late because of subjective issues.
  • Opening and closing times for most tourist attractions are 7,00 -7,30 AM and 5,00 PM
  • Tipping is customary in Vietnam and it’s suggested 20 USD for guide per day and 10 USD for driver per day (for the whole private group less than 10 pax) and this can be done directly from guests to guides.
  • Tipping for big groups (more than 10 pax) will be quoted 3USD/pax/day for both guides and drivers. This will be included in the trip total cost.
  • Tipping is a MUST in Cambodia (at least 5 USD/person/day)
TRIP INCLUSIONS CLARIFICATION:
  • Trip inclusions will surely be done as exactly as in each day’s INCLUSIONS LINE
  • Hotel rooms are defaulted for 2 persons ( 1 or 2 beds) or 3 persons (with extra bed), all rooms with random view windows (city / garden/sea/pool view)
  • Hotel check in/out time is 2,00 PM - 12.00 PM. Any early check in or late check out request will be subjective to availability and is charged by hotel regulations.
  • Halong bay cruise cabin is for 2 persons, check in at 12.00 PM and check out at 9,30 AM. No early check in or late checkout is allowed.
  • Entrance fees to all sites mentioned above
  • 2 bottles of water per guest per day
  • Travel insurance valued at 2.000 USD (only for accidents and food poison caused by the food/drinks offered by our included meals)
