• Introduction: Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam since 1010, is the long-lasting center of politics, culture, education, and religion, and holds the history of Vietnam.

🗺️ Suggested Timing and Itinerary

• 8:30 AM: Our Tour guide and Bus pick up at your hotel to start discovering Hanoi City.

• 8:45 AM: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake (the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century).

• 9:30 AM: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Uncle Ho. You have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, then walk around the garden to see the two houses where he lived & worked (1954–1969).

  • Then, visit the One Pillar Pagoda (we worship the Goddess of Mercy here).

  • Note: Dress modestly (covering shoulders to knees). The Mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and for annual maintenance (approx. June 15th to August 15th).

• 11:15 AM: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of the 54 ethnic groups.

  • Special Note: We will visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum if the Ethnology Museum is closed on Mondays.

• 12:45 PM: Have lunch at our restaurant, enjoying Vietnamese cuisine (vegetarian options available).

• 2:00 PM – 2:15 PM: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) – the first university of Vietnam (founded in 1070).

• 3:15 PM: Keep going to visit Hoa Lo Prison (Maison Centrale), built by the French (1886–1901), now a war museum.

• 4:30 PM: Drive to the Hanoi Old Quarters, make some pleasant walks around the area to witness the daily life of the local people, and learn the history of Hoan Kiem Lake.

• 5:30 PM: Get back to the hotel and rest on your own.

• Evening: Dinner and evening time are on your own.

• Overnight: Hanoi.

• Note: This is a very long day (approx. 12 hours total). The cruise is based on the Cozy Bay Premium Cruise route, known for its modern comfort and premier experience.

🗺️ Ha Long Bay Day Cruise Itinerary

• 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM: Our Tour guide will pick you up at the hotel in the Ha Noi Old Quarter then depart to Halong Bay by Expressway Transfer.

• 10:30 AM: Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax.

• 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor. Welcome to Cozy Bay Premium Cruise. We will take you on a 5-6 hour journey via a day-sleeper boat cruise route, renowned for striking, uninhabited islets, while having lunch on the boat.

• 2:00 PM: You will visit Surprising Cave (Sung Sot Cave) to see a lot of stalagmites and stalactites.

• 3:00 PM: Visit Titop Island with a sandy beach and a towering limestone mountain backdrop. Climb up Titop Peak for a panoramic view of the bay.

• 4:00 PM: Then do kayaking or bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful Lagoon.

• 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Cruising back to Tuan Chau Harbor. Enjoy the sunset party with tea, cakes, and sunbathing on the upper deck.

• 6:30 PM: Get on the bus to back to Hanoi by Expressway, with a short break for 20-30 minutes.

• 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM: Arrive at the hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter.

• Overnight: Hanoi.

• Introduction: Ninh Binh is where Vietnam’s Former Dinh Dynasty was based (968-980). It’s famous for the Trang An natural complex, recognized as a UNESCO WORLD NATURAL HERITAGE site.

🗺️ Ninh Binh Itinerary

• 8:00 AM: Check out the hotel with luggage loaded on the bus, then drive to Ninh Binh (2.5 hours) with a toilet stop.

• 10:30 AM: Arrive at Hoa Lu District and enjoy a 2-hour boat trip on Trang An lakes (UNESCO site). You can get on and off to visit caves and temples during the boat ride.

• 12:30 PM: Get back to the boat station and have lunch at a local restaurant (buffet or set menu).

• 1:30 PM: Digest your lunch by visiting Hoa Lu ancient citadel where Vietnam’s First Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang set up his first Kingdom in 968.

• 2:30 PM: Enjoy an optional bike ride around the area if you like to get into the beautiful nature of the area.

  • (Note: You can check in the hotel first then continue the tour to stay away from the heat).

• 3:30 PM: Visit Hang Mua cave (best seen by sunset time). Walk up 500 steps on top of the cave to enjoy the best view of the area. Hang Mua also has a beautiful lotus flower lake for photos.

• 4:30 PM: Get back into the bus and drive to the hotel for check-in.

• Evening: Dinner and Evening are on your own.

• Overnight: Ninh Binh.

🗺️ Final Activities & Departure

• Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Check out at 9:00 AM and explore Ninh Binh with more tourist attractions.

  • Enjoy another boat ride on Thung Nham bird sanctuary to enjoy bird watching and nature.

• Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

• Afternoon: Drive back to Hanoi airport for your departure flight home.

• NOTE: Please reserve the flight that departs after 6:00 PM for safety reasons.
