Hanoi Full Day City Tour (B, L)

Inclusions: Private transport, guide, lunch, entrance fees, water, hotel.
Introduction: Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is a long-lasting center of politics, culture, and education, holding the history of Vietnam since 1010. You will immerse yourself in a society that is both traditional and modern, exploring its history, religious life, and culture.

🗺️ Suggested Timing and Itinerary

8:30 AM: Our Tour guide and bus pick up at your hotel to start discovering Hanoi City.
8:45 AM: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in Hanoi’s biggest West Lake (the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century).
9:30 AM: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Uncle Ho. You will see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, then walk around the garden to see the two houses where he lived & worked (1954–1969).
- Then, visit the One Pillar Pagoda (we worship the Goddess of Mercy here) – the most unique pagoda in the world.
- Note: Dress modestly (covering shoulders to knees) when visiting the Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas. Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and for annual maintenance (usually June 15th to August 15th).
11:15 AM: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of the 54 ethnic groups.
- Special Note: We will visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum if the Ethnology Museum is closed on Mondays.
12:45 PM: Have lunch at our restaurant, enjoying Vietnamese cuisine (vegetarian options available).
2:00 PM – 2:15 PM: Continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) – the first university of Vietnam (founded in 1070).
3:15 PM: Keep going to visit Hoa Lo Prison (Maison Centrale), built by the French (1886–1901), often called “A Hell on Earth,” now serving as a war museum.
4:30 PM: Drive to the territory of the Hanoi Old Quarters, make some pleasant walks around the area to witness the daily life of the local people, and learn the history of Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Return Lake).
5:30 PM: Get back to the hotel and rest on your own.
Evening: Dinner and evening time are on your own.
Overnight: Hanoi.

Hanoi - Ha Long Bay Overnight Cruise (B, L, D)

Inclusions: Shared bus, 5-star cruise cabin, buffet lunch and dinner, sightseeing fees.
Introduction: The Ha Long Bay route (UNESCO heritage) is always crowded but offers more caves and beaches. This itinerary is based on AMANDA CRUISE using the HA LONG Bay route.
- Note: The cruise can be changed to one of the same cost/standard if Amanda Cruise is sold out, or you can request your favorite cruise and pay extra if any.

🛥️ Cruise Itinerary Highlights

8:30 AM: Check out the hotel in Hanoi then drive towards Halong Bay (3 hours) with a rest stop.
11:30 AM: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau International Cruise Port, you will enjoy a warm welcome and complete the check-in procedure.
12:00 PM: Board Amanda Cruise, check into your cabin. The vessel leaves Tuan Chau Marina, cruising past limestone islands toward Luon Cave & Titop Island. Enjoy lunch at our luxurious restaurant on board.
2:00 PM: Short rest, then prepare for kayaking or rafting activities in Luon Cave.
4:00 PM: Transfer to Titop Island. Visit and hike to the top for stunning views, or have a fun swim.
6:00 PM: Return on board to participate in a Sunset Party & Cooking Class (making Fresh Spring rolls).
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Happy Hour – BUY 2 DRINKS GET 1 FOR FREE.
7:30 PM: Gala Dinner (possibly on the Sundeck).
8:30 PM: Evening activities: herbal foot bath (free), Bamboo dancing, fashion show, Sky Bar, and squid fishing.
Overnight: On board (anchored in a quiet area).

Ha Long Bay - Return to Hanoi (B, L)

🗺️ Morning Activities & Transfer

6:15 AM: Start your day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck.
6:30 AM – 7:00 AM: Enjoy a light breakfast.
7:30 AM: Exploring Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave) – one of the largest and most beautiful caves.
9:30 AM: Check-out time. Please place your luggage outside your cabin.
10:00 AM: Enjoy an early lunch buffet (brunch) at the restaurant.
11:00 AM: Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina. Our shared bus will pick you up and transfer back to Hanoi.
3:00 PM: Arrive at Hanoi, check in your hotel and rest on your own.
Evening: Evening and dinner are on your own.
Overnight: Hanoi.

Hanoi Departure (B)

Inclusions: Private transport.
Activity: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Then, our private car will pick you up and transfer you to Hanoi airport for your flight home.
NOTE: If your flight is late in the evening, we can arrange another city tour with more relaxing activities for an additional charge (will be discussed during booking confirmation).

TERMS OF SERVICE AND TRIP DETAILS

AGREEMENTS AND COMMITMENTS:

All costs INCLUDE GOVERNMENT TAX following Vietnamese national tax laws.
Standard SET MENU LUNCH/DINNER usually includes sharing foods of 1 starter, 3-4 main dishes, 1 dessert, steam rice, and all are Vietnamese food only in standard Vietnamese restaurants (hygienic, air conditioned, and professional service) Vegetarian foods and food restrictions will be pleasantly accommodated.
Set menu meals are shared among 4-6 people per one dish depending on group size
SIMPLE LUNCH/DINNER means each person has a bowl/plate of a local command food and a drink (beer/soft drink/juice/water)
Food requests to Fancy restaurants or Western food/Indian/food will be additionally changed subject to real costs.
The timing and order of visiting in the daily plan for private tours is just our suggestion, please feel free to change/adjust as long as it doesn’t cause extra costs.
For group tours, the timing and inclusions are fixed, guests are strictly required to follow.
Business hours of Vietnam are from 7,30 - 8,00 AM to 5,00 PM
Guides and drivers’ working time are until 6.00 PM. Any additional hour will be charged 20 USD (both for guide and car).
No additional charge for the days clearly stated with timing or late because of subjective issues.
Opening and closing times for most tourist attractions are 7,00 -7,30 AM and 5,00 PM
Tipping is customary in Vietnam and it’s suggested 20 USD for guide per day and 10 USD for driver per day (for the whole private group less than 10 pax) and this can be done directly from guests to guides.
Tipping for big groups (more than 10 pax) will be quoted 3USD/pax/day for both guides and drivers. This will be included in the trip total cost.
Tipping is a MUST in Cambodia (at least 5 USD/person/day)

TRIP INCLUSIONS CLARIFICATION:

Hotel rooms are defaulted for 2 persons ( 1 or 2 beds) or 3 persons (with extra bed), all rooms with random view windows (city / garden/sea/pool view)
Hotel check in/out time is 2,00 PM - 12.00 PM. Any early check in or late check out request will be subjective to availability and is charged by hotel regulations.
Halong bay cruise cabin is for 2 persons, check in at 12.00 PM and check out at 9,30 AM. No early check in or late checkout is allowed.
Entrance fees to all sites mentioned above

Travel insurance valued at 2.000 USD (only for accidents and food poison caused by the food/drinks offered by our included meals)
