🏛️ Morning: History and French Architecture

• 8:30 AM: Visit Independence Palace (Reunification Palace), which witnessed the ups and downs of Vietnam’s history.

• 9:30 AM: Next, visit the War Remnants Museum to witness the true scenes of The Vietnam War.

• 11:00 AM: Stop outside the Notre Dame Cathedral and visit inside the Central Post Office, showcasing great French colonial architecture.

• 12:00 PM: View the Opera House and City Hall (stand outside) and stroll down Nguyen Hue Walking Street. These central sites highlight why Saigon was named “The Pearl of the Far East.”

• 1:00 PM: Enjoy a light simple lunch with local Vietnamese food (one dish/bowl and one drink per person).

🗺️ Briefing Itinerary

• 8:00 AM: Our tour guide and car pick up at the hotel and depart for Cu Chi Tunnels (2 hours), with one stop for coffee/toilet.

• 10:00 AM: Arrive at the Cu Chi tunnel historical site. Here, walk with our guide to explore the hidden stories and traps used during the Vietnam war.

• 11:30 AM: Get on the car and drive to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

• 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Enjoy a typical Vietnamese set menu lunch at a local restaurant. Then, drive back to Ho Chi Minh City downtown.

• 3:00 PM: We will continue exploring Ho Chi Minh City based on your interest, such as visiting museums, art galleries, or going shopping.

• 5:00 PM: We drop you off at your hotel. Dinner and evening time are on your own.

🍎 Morning: Cai Be River Cruise & Handicrafts

• 8:00 AM: Our guide and car will pick you up at your hotel, then drive to Cai Be town (2 hours).

• 10:00 AM: At arrival, board our private boat for a 3-hour hop-on/off cruise.

  • First, visit a local family to learn the traditional way to make rice paper, coconut candy, and baskets from water hyacinth.

  • Next, visit a typical fruit garden (fruits are seasonal like pomelos, oranges, etc.) and enjoy some fruits right there.

  • Then, enjoy a 20-minute sampan ride along a small canal, which was the main means of transportation centuries ago.

  • Finally, stop by an ancient house to witness how the Vietnamese lived hundreds of years ago. A hands-on cooking session will be offered with a common local cake, instructed by the host.

• 1:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at this family home with great typical Vietnamese food.

🚴 Afternoon: Rural Cycling & Transfer

• 2:00 PM: After lunch, digest your food with a pleasant 40-minute bike ride around the villages. This will get you closer to rural life. You can also relax in the house or walk around.

• 3:00 PM: Get back to our boat, which will take you back to Cai Be boat station. Subsequently, our car will drive you to Can Tho city (2 hours).

• 5:30 PM: Arrive at Can Tho city, check in to your hotel/homestay. Dinner and evening time are on your own.

• Overnight: Can Tho.

🌅 Morning: Floating Market & Ancient House

• 5:30 AM: A private boat picks you up right at the homestay for the MUST-SEE Cai Rang Floating Market.

• 6:00 AM: Arrive at the floating market and enjoy the most lively moments of the day when hundreds of boats are making their deals on the river. (The market is BEST SEEN in the very early morning).

• 7:00 AM: Get back to the homestay for breakfast and freshen up.

• 9:00 AM: Check out. Our guide and car pick you up to explore Can Tho city.

• 9:30 AM: Visit Binh Thuy Ancient House, a typical high-class family residence during the French colonial period (1900s).

• 10:30 AM: Get on a shared boat to visit Mr. Bay Bon Fish Farm. You will get onto the farm to witness how they feed fish and try some special dried fish products.

• 11:30 AM: Enjoy some walks on Con Son Island, famous for its orchid gardens and simple life. Enjoy a flying fish show with a local family.

• 12:00 PM: Enjoy a set menu lunch at a local family restaurant.

🚗 Afternoon: Transfer to HCM

• 1:00 PM: Get back to the boat for drop off on the mainland.

• 1:30 PM: Meet our driver, and we will drive directly to Ho Chi Minh City (3 hours) with one toilet stop.

• 5:00 PM: Arrive at Ho Chi Minh City.

• Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City.
